Payment Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

This Payment Policy explains how payments are accepted and processed for purchases made through speso.shop.

Speso is an online-only store operated from Colorado Springs, Colorado. By placing an order, you authorize the payment method selected at checkout to process the final order amount shown before payment is submitted.

Accepted payment methods

Depending on what is available at checkout, we may accept:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Other major credit cards
  • Major debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Other payment options displayed at checkout

The payment methods shown for your order can vary depending on your location, device, browser, order details, and payment-provider settings. All available options are displayed during checkout.

Only the payment methods shown at checkout are available for your order.

When payment is charged

Your payment method may be authorized or charged when you submit and confirm your order at checkout.

The final order amount may include:

  • Product prices
  • Applicable discounts
  • Shipping charges
  • Applicable sales taxes
  • Optional products or services selected during checkout

The total amount payable is shown before you complete your purchase.

Currency, taxes, and shipping

All prices on Speso are displayed in United States dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

If your bank or payment account uses another currency, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may convert the transaction according to its own exchange rate. Your provider may also charge a foreign-exchange or currency-conversion fee.

Applicable taxes are calculated and displayed at checkout based on the order details and delivery destination.

Our current shipping options are shown at checkout and may include:

  • Express Shipping: $4.99
  • Free Shipping: $0.00

The final shipping option, cost, and order total are shown before payment is completed.

Secure payment processing

Payments are processed through Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout.

Payment information is transmitted through secure connections. Speso does not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.

Payment providers may process your information under their own terms, privacy policies, fraud-prevention systems, and security practices.

Shopify supports cards, accelerated checkout options, and other payment methods depending on the merchant’s activated services and the customer’s location. For that reason, the payment methods displayed in your checkout are the final list that applies to your purchase.

Payment verification

For security purposes, orders may be subject to automated or manual payment verification.

We may review billing information, shipping information, payment authorization, order details, and fraud or security indicators.

We may delay, refuse, or cancel an order if:

  • The payment cannot be verified.
  • The transaction is declined.
  • The order information is incomplete.
  • Fraud is suspected.
  • The payment method appears unauthorized.

If an order is canceled after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

Declined payments

A payment may be declined because of:

  • Incorrect billing details.
  • Insufficient funds.
  • An expired payment method.
  • Bank restrictions.
  • Fraud-prevention checks.
  • Payment-provider issues.
  • A mismatch between billing and checkout information.

If your payment is declined, review your payment details or contact your bank or payment provider. Speso may not receive the full reason for every declined transaction.

Failed, canceled, and refunded orders

If an order fails, is canceled, or is not accepted, we will not intentionally retain payment for the canceled portion of the order.

A temporary authorization may remain visible on your account until it is released by your bank or payment provider.

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method used at checkout. Refund timing depends on the payment provider, bank, card issuer, and billing cycle.

Payments related to returns, refunds, exchanges, or replacements are handled according to our Return & Refund Policy.

Returns and refunds

For approved voluntary, customer-preference returns:

  • Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.
  • Return shipping is generally the customer’s responsibility.
  • We do not automatically apply a fixed restocking fee.
  • A reasonable condition-related deduction may apply where a returned item has reduced value, as explained in our Return & Refund Policy.
  • We do not apply a restocking fee to confirmed defective, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially misrepresented items. For these issues, contact us before returning the product so we can review the matter and provide appropriate instructions.

Payment disputes

If you believe a payment was made in error or have a concern about an order, please contact us first so we can review the matter.

We may provide relevant order, payment, delivery, and communication records to a payment provider or financial institution when a dispute or chargeback is opened.

Price or payment errors

We make reasonable efforts to display accurate prices, discounts, taxes, shipping charges, and payment information.

If we discover an error affecting an order, we may contact you and offer the option to proceed with the corrected amount or cancel the affected order and refund the applicable payment.

Changes to payment methods

We may add, remove, or update payment methods and payment providers from time to time.

The payment options available at the time you place your order govern that transaction.
